Newly elected Cornet Thomas Hope led a gaggle of Young Riders up the Kirk Wynd on Sunday the 10th of May for their annual sponsored walk.
Thomas was flanked by Right- and Left-Hand Men Ewan Patterson and Bailey Donaldson.
The enthusiastic youngsters raised over £1300 for the Young Riders.
The route took the group up the Kirk Wynd and along the Burny Braes before following the road up to the monument. As per Common Riding tradition, the group circled the monument three times before heading back for the town down the face of Whita via Whita Well.
The youngsters were treated to an ice cream from Pelosis van on their arrival back in the Market Place.
